A married couple in Florida, Tito and Amanda Watts, were arrested a few days ago for selling “golden tickets to heaven” to hundreds of people.

They sold the tickets on the street for $99.99 per ticket, told buyers the tickets were made from solid gold, and that each ticket reserved the buyer a spot in heaven — simply present the ticket at the pearly gates and you’re in.

Tito Watts said in his police statement: “I don’t care what the police say. The tickets are solid gold… And it was Jesus who give them to me behind the KFC and said to sell them so I could get me some money to go to outer space. I met an alien named Stevie who said if I got the cash together he’d take me and my wife on his flying saucer to his planet that’s made entirely of drugs. You should arrest Jesus because he’s the one that gave me the golden tickets and said to sell them. I’m willing to wear a wire and set Jesus up….”

Amanda Watts said in her police statement:” “We just wanted to leave earth and go to space and do drugs. I didn’t do nothing. Tito sold the golden tickets to heaven. I just watched.”

Police said they confiscated over $10,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia, and a baby alligator.

Meteor explodes over Ireland with the power of an atomic bomb (VIDEO)

Astronomers say a meteor exploded over Northern Ireland with the force of an ‘atomic bomb’ around 10pm on Sunday, April 25. They are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the fireball.

David Moore, editor of Astronomy Ireland magazine, told the Irish Times that the meteor, which experts say was probably around the size of a car, may have produced the same energy of a World War 2 atomic bomb. He said his organization received hundreds of reports of the fireball.

“It was most likely a rock from space exploding in the atmosphere, we’re still trying to gauge how big it was and where it might have landed,” said Moore.

“If you were in space looking down, you would have seen Ireland lit up for a few seconds. People in urban areas with their lights on watching their TVs with windows facing the right direction have reported seeing it.

News Report of EUCHARISTIC Miracle -Update at St Patricks

Report of EUCHARISTIC Miracle

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

>Several social media sites have reported that a Eucharistic miracle has occurred at our parish of St. Patrick in Rochelle. While our faith leads us to believe in miracles and the manifestation of Christ’s presence among us, unfortunately this was not one of those times.

The facts of the matter are these: a Communion wafer (unknown if it was consecrated or not) was found and, by holy protocol, the wafer was placed in water to be dissolved for proper disposal according to Catholic norms.  As the wafer dissolved it developed a red coloration which raised hope in a supernatural phenomenon. After careful examination, I determined this transformation part of a natural disintegration by bacterium and mold and the wafer was disposed according to the norms of the Catholic Church. Unfortunately, a photo had been taken and posted raising hopes that a miracle had occurred.

The very core of our Catholic faith teaches us that we receive the Real Presence of Christ at each Eucharist so we can never casually dismiss that, throughout history, over one hundred Eucharistic miracles have been formally recognized and we have no reason to doubt that miracles are indeed part of our modern lives.

>Despite the conclusion of this specific case, in no way is our firm belief in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist diminished and we are pleased and privileged to still be able to receive him every day at Mass in our faithful community of St. Patrick of Rochelle.

Girl Scouts Now Welcoming Transgender Boys

“Girl Scouts is proud to be the premiere leadership organization for girls in the country. Placement of transgender youth is handled on a case-by-case basis, with the welfare and best interests of the child and the members of the troop/group in question a top priority,” the group says in an FAQ on its website. “That said, if the child is recognized by the family and school/community as a girl and lives culturally as a girl, then Girl Scouts is an organization that can serve her in a setting that is both emotionally and physically safe.”

Colombian bishop floats idea of gay apostle, lesbian Mary Magdalene

Bishop Juan Vicente Córdoba says ‘no one chooses to be gay or straight’

ROME — A Colombian bishop, insisting that being homosexual is not a sin, said Thursday it’s possible that one of the twelve apostles of Jesus was gay or that Mary Magdalene, another key New Testament figure, was a lesbian.

Bishop Juan Vicente Córdoba of Fontibón, Colombia, also said the Catholic Church does not oppose same-sex couples making a life together, but does not consider such arrangements to be a marriage or a family.

“No one chooses to be gay or straight,” Córdoba said. “One simply feels, loves, experiments, is attracted, and no attraction is bad.”

Córdoba was speaking at a conference about gay marriage and adoption hosted by the local University of Los Andes, at a time when Colombia is debating gay marriage and adoption rights.

Although Córdoba reiterated Church teaching when it comes to marriage – that it’s a union between a man and a woman, permanent, and open to children – he said that homosexuality isn’t a sin.

“Sin is something else. It’s not respecting the dignity of others. Not loving God and our neighbors as we love ourselves, not feeding the hungry, not giving water to the thirsty,” Córdoba said.

He added that he prefers “a thousand times over” for Colombians to have dignity, a proper health system and food for all, rather than talking about whether they’re gay or straight.

According to local reports, Córdoba said that in the Bible there’s no explicit rejection of homosexuality, suggesting there’s no basis for making a condemnation of homosexuality a Church doctrine.

“We don’t know if one of Jesus’ disciples” had a same-sex orientation, he said. “We don’t know either if Mary Magdalene was a lesbian.”

In the New Testament, there are hints that Mary Magdalene, a close follower of Jesus, was a prostitute. Córdoba said that may suggest she wasn’t actually a lesbian, but “we don’t know.”

Talking about same-sex adoption, the bishop, who heads the Commission on Life of the Colombian Episcopal Conference and was ordained bishop in 2004, said that children have the right to be raised by a mother and a father.

“We shouldn’t force minors to grow up under a gay couple, because when they become adolescents they’ll say they would have wanted to have a mom and a dad,” Córdoba said.

Córdoba said that the decision on gay marriage and adoption rights can’t be left “in the hands of a few,” adding that a referendum would be the right way to make the call.

He also asked for the debate not to be reduced to a political standoff.

“This is not a ‘genitals’ battle,” he said. Today the battles have to be in favor of the dignity of the poor, those that are not being heard,” Córdoba said.

If gay marriage is eventually legalized, Córdoba issued a challenge to homosexuals in Colombia.

“Gay brothers, when you get married, have nice homes, based in fidelity, and educate your children with love, preoccupied for the poor, the needy, so that there’s justice in Colombia,” he said.

Córdoba asked those in favor of the gay rights bill not to call the opposition “recalcitrant, dinosaurs, cavemen, retarded, because we also have the right to present our ideas and our emotions with respect.”

“There will come a time when the Catholic Church is a minority that will be crushed by the majority,” he warned. “Let us respect each other, without using adjectives or telling anyone they’re sick or disordered.”

“We can spare all the adjectives,” Córdoba said. “We have a noun, and it’s that we’re brothers and sisters.”

Vienna brings in gay pedestrian crossing lights

Vienna brings in gay pedestrian crossing lights

It is hoped the eye-catching change will improve road safety, a Vienna spokeswoman said

Dozens of traffic lights in the Austrian capital have been changed to show gay couples crossing the road instead of the traditional lone figure.

Vienna has changed the signal images at 120 pedestrian crossings – also showing heterosexual couples – in preparation for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Officials said the signals were a sign of Vienna’s open-mindedness.

Toni Mahdalik of the right-wing Freedom Party of Austria called the initiative gender politics “gone mad”.

He said the money would have been better spent on reducing poverty and improving unemployment figures.

It is hoped the signals, which show couples holding hands and with love hearts above them instead of a gender-neutral figure, will also improve safety.

The unusual symbols are attracting the attention of drivers and pedestrians, a spokeswoman for Vienna’s city lighting department said.

Many of the millions who watch Eurovision include a huge gay fan base and last year’s winner, bearded transvestite Conchita Wurst, became a global gay icon with the song Rise like a Phoenix.

About 40 countries are taking part in the 2015 Eurovision contest. The final will be held on May 23.
