The Star Online also reported claims that the polyresin statue had transmogrified into porcelain, and grown three inches taller in the process, too.
It would seem that the statue had grown so that it could better fit into the grotto that had been specially built to house the mother of Jesus Christ. According to a widely-circulated WhatsApp message, the statue had been placed in a box when it was found to be too small for the grotto. However, when the parish priest took it out to be blessed last week, he found the polyresin statue miraculously transformed into porcelain and a good three inches taller, to boot.
In a three-minute video clip, a parishioner declares that he has witnessed yet another miracle to what appears to be the congregation at mass.“Her eyes were moving very slowly, all of us were there and we saw it.
“The father (the priest) was saying, ‘Look at her, she’s looking at us. She was full of life, she had a lot of tears in her eyes’.
“When we started singing ‘Ave Maria’, she started smiling and her lips were moving. It has touched all of us.
“The father had told us that he actually spoke to her. She will come more often, she also told father that she wants all of us to pray to her,” the man proclaims in the video.
The report said Father Raymond Pereira was unavailable for comment. – October 14, 2015.
